Job Vacancy for Play Leader

Pitsmoor Adventure Playground invites applications for the role of Play Leader.

Working in conjunction with the Playground Manager, the successful candidate will lead on planning, delivering and facilitating a programme of stimulating opportunities for free play and recreational activities for children and young people at Pitsmoor Adventure Playground, actively listening and responding to children and young people’s needs.

Pitsmoor Adventure Playground are seeking a qualified playworker with experience of working with children up to 14 years in a multicultural setting, who will bring energy and positivity to the play environment and provide a sense of direction and purpose within the staff and volunteer team.

Level 3

NJC SCP 24-26

30 hours per week

5 play sessions per week

Starting NJC SCP 24 (£21530)

Actual salary £17,439
